So Day #2 was a success! YES! I feel pretty good. I had my snacks with me and made it through the entire day. I did how ever get a headache towards the end of my shift. Probably not enough water?
Came home, had the apothe cherry and laid in bed. Let me just say the headache I had went away as soon as I took the apothe cherry. I was very impressed. I also realized I couldn’t stay up as late as usual. One thing I need to mention is that last night I started having loose BMs, I don’t feel sick though. I am just constantly running to the bathroom and it’s draining. Also I am very very gassy, its actually really uncomfortable. Hopefully this ends within the next day or two.
Hope everyone has a wonderful Wednesday! Tomorrow is my day OFF! Yay!
I have survived Day #1 of Purium and let me tell you it was the hardest thing I’ve ever done besides going to Nursing School. I followed the plan to the T, the hardest part was getting the master aminos down. As for the power shake, it was just as hard to get down too even with adding less water. But I did it! I feel the hardest part was during dinner time when everyone else was eating delicious food around me! I chugged down that water like no one’s business and had some tea, which helped a lot! It was something other than water.
I got home fairly late last night about 11:30 pm, had a quick snack of cucumbers seasoned with cheyenne pepper and pink sea salt, DELICIOUS! Then I took the apothe cherry drink.. yes AMAZING. I loved the taste of it, it’s tart/sour. I enjoy that anyway over sweets. Let me tell you though I had the sweetest sleep, best sleep I’ve had in a long time. I have been struggling with insomnia issues ever since I’ve started working evenings.. a year ago. So to be able to fall right asleep when I got home from work was amazing.
We are now going on to Day #2, I woke up a little late, 2 hours late! So I’m just going to readjust to that! Let me just add that waking up was not as much as a struggle. I bounced right up, took the master aminos and actually thought to myself “wow, I feel some energy and I feel pretty good!”
Hope everyone has a great day! I’ll be back later tonight or tomorrow!
“I crave space. It charges my batteries. It helps me breathe. Being around people can be so exhausting, because most of them love to take and barely know how to give. Except for a rare few.”—Katie Kacvinsky (via cosmiccalculation)
I’ve struggled with my weight time and time again. Doing everything from Weight Watchers to going completely Vegan. I’ve had to admit going Vegan is probably the most successful way to drop weight and feel amazing from the inside out. Recently I’ve heard about this cleanse from friends and co workers. They have all had amazing success with it. So I thought I would give it a shot. Lately I’ve been feeling pretty “blah” about my body and I haven’t been fueling it with the right foods. I am constantly tired and irritable and it’s probably caused by what I am putting in my mouth. My goals for this cleanse are to reset my palate, recharge my body, feeding it nutrients and if I lose weight I lose weight. I just want to be on the right track and stay there. I want to cut all cravings that make me binge it. I will be using my tumblr to tell my journey for the next 10 days. I am nervous, excited and eager to take this challenge full speed ahead. I took some progress pictures tonight for Day 1 (which will be tomorrow!) and then I will do a Day 5 and then Day 10 and of course compare! I will be on to blog after I get home from work tomorrow night!
I am going on Day 4 of the 24 Day Challenge with Advocare.. I’ve felt so bloated the past two days. I am drinking over 80 oz of water. Eating clean and avoiding all sweet tooth things! I’ve cut out a lot of junk from my diet. I was so sluggish at the gym today. I don’t know what’s going on.. I’m just hoping this will past. I am definitely continuing with this. In 24 days I’ll be lean, mean, fitting machine. Just have to keep reminding myself.
